My Faith

We all live in a world that is short of absolute truth. In physics there is no connective theory that explains relative theory and quantum theory, but each explains different aspects of reality. In medicine there is no works for all diet or treatment for some sickness. Basically we are ultimately stuck to just running with whatever sounds the most reasonable. This is where many people can break a persons theories so I think its just best to get your groundwork laid out.
A lot of my own personal choices sound like its just feel good fluffy rainbows type of theory and I often get accused of this. However; I have found that the more I learn and experience the more this feel good fluffy rainbow theory becomes rationale. Now I know there are many bad things in life including things in nature like disease and disasters but I'll get to that later. For now I think its better to focus on something without so much complexity so the context is laid out.
Everyday we all are faced with decisions that greatly affect our well being. We decide to take up a workout program, what foods to eat, regular doctor visits (if can afford), and other options that all affect our personal health. Educationally we decide on where credible information is coming from, if a particular topic is even worth the effort, we decide on how, when, where, and what everyday or we just say its all bullshit. We make decisions on what work to get into and many other personal decisions. Many of these are blindly followed and for the most part you really have to just guess it till you know better, or think you know better.
Health wise I do not know my own personal levels of every detail of my health but what I have slowly started to discover is natural is best and to stay active. Which makes sense granted we are natural beings! So when approached with a decision that I have to make but I do not know the facts I tend to look in the natural and active area of dealing with the situation. That is my leap of faith.
Education is something I find to be the base of all the rest. It is my education that will ultimately lead me to a decision so it is my education that is my personal responsibility to grow and excel in. I don't think people realize how much you can grow by just digging into things an hour a day. I feel its my duty to question everything and to find the base source if possible. I don't tend to believe someone speaking of a politicians' ideals when they do not show the politician being spoken of. I do not tend to believe that a bill is being passed and represented properly if the bill name is not given. I ask who is being benefited from the information and find the background of the person giving the information. I routinely try to prove myself wrong though I don't let my own ideas die so easily. Check the source and check it often.
When treating to myself I look for simplicity in my own life and look to what makes me appreciate my life. I look for what makes me productive and efficient in my choice of work preference and style. I look for better connections with those around me. I find these things to bring much more greatness to my life and let me follow a path of decision making that benefits myself in various aspects of life.
Socially we need to build relationships; not only personal relationships, but work relationships and service relationships like with a doctor or your housemaid. If we have a public job that deals with many people then this will be taken to higher levels. People have the right to choose, but many people don't know what to choose. This does not mean they are stupid or retarded it just means they don't know what to choose. Many other people that deceive for their own personal material gain will gladly exploit the people in this state.
Everyday reactions affect people in various ways, some in light manners but some in very great manners. This could be in a positive way like inspiring someone to carry out a dream or in a negative way to where suicide is contemplated or even executed. Our social ethics is just another side of the coin from our own personal ethics. On the personal ethics we build our own lives to meet our ideals while the social ethics we build a community to meet our ideals.
The base of this is our personal ethics, most people respond better to what they see rather than what they hear. Many scientist study the ways we react socially and this gets applied in various ways. Our businesses have used this to create more efficient advertisements and even what and how to sell. Teachers use this to become for efficient at their jobs. Teachers and similar jobs are held to very high social responsibilities since they are setting the attitude for millions of children that will enter our workforce and government. Parenting studies have discovered more and more effective ways of raising children. Though yes this is not perfect it is showing significant results. Once again none of this is proven but the trend seems to be love, acceptance, and knowledge goes a lot further for the benefit of society than to judge, condemn, and exploit for personal gain.

So how do I narrow out this heap of mess to make a decision on who to vote for? Well for one thing I look at the tactics they are using. Politicians are typically very educated and understand various topics from social sciences to economics unlike the average voter. When I see someone using fallacies of appeal to gain voters to vote, I mark them down. Many politicians realize that people feel very passionate about social agendas like abortion and will emphasize this fact to areas that have a higher ratings of activist on abortion. On the other hand they will very rarely say anything on economical or foreign policy. If the politician is not well rounded in speaking I mark them down.
My own ideas are obviously not going to have proof just ready since well I'm just an individual with limited resources but I have developed an idea of what to work off of. It is roundness to policy! I shoot for a policy that has aspects for all social economical statutes, all religions, all races, etc. I look at all economic systems like capitalism to socialism and mark notes in all that work and are positive. I tend to find that the extreme to any side leads to greater failure. Each system tends to only answer certain questions of economy. Capitalism answers how to maintain a economy filled with independent people to work for what they want and earn. Socialism answers equality for all people, while Libertarians answer complete freedom, and Monarchies create efficiency and immediate results. Each has a hand in all the other questions but emphasize only on the one while the theorist just assume that their system does answer entirely all questions.  My leap of faith is that all questions can be answered if we just learn from all systems and how they worked and where they failed at.
Spiritually we have several options available. Each has people that claim to being the right one and each has people that take the more humble approach. Like I said earlier, I take education to be very important and this is no different in my spirituality. I think spirituality is primarily abstract so we can't just see it or touch it. With the observation of sociology and psychology I have seen a pattern that was not constructed by man but was created naturally. I think a lot of people overlook this when composing science with religion. However; what does this mean? I think its a spiritual connection that brings everything from us to black holes together. There is something amazing when you say a kind word to someone and they begin to smile, and even on its opposite state of being mean and bring sadness or anger.
I think ultimately science can show us the absolute truth and I do believe that an absolute truth exist its just we all have relative truths of this absolute truth. Science as of now is incomplete and may have a chance of always being like that. However; I think that's irrelevant! I think what is relevant is the patterns we find along the path. Which the deeper you look you find all that fuzzy rainbow stuff. Optimistic thinkers tend to live healthier lives and accomplish more throughout life. Optimism does not mean you do not acknowledge the bad in life so just get that out of your head.
Now the bad in life, the part that just seems to throw people away from any type of religion or spirituality. People die and sometimes in gruesome ways. Disease has wiped communities out along with tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami, and of course war. Lets turn to an angle I'm sure most have not taken. Imagine the world if every person that was born lives to old age. With the lack of technology to use resources efficiently throughout time we would of sucked our resources dry and all of us would be in trouble. I think natural disasters and disease is a random way for nature to maintain our survival. I also look at this as this means that the whole is much more important than the individual. So I tend to disregard theories that only focus on individuals, though of course the individual is important to the individual so not to completely take this focus out of the picture.
You can take anything and find something that either is symbolic and serves a enlightened purpose or directly has a positive impact for the whole. We must not forget that things like heroin exist that I really don't understand why do not let AIDS patients inject when on their death beds. Heroin is a very powerful painkiller that comes from a flower with little processing needed. To me this says nature is offering ways for us to ease the suffering that must exist till we can develop a world of utopia.
I tend to find on a personal path that the study of psychology is the most beneficial then on social behavior and policy making sociology is the most influential. The spirituality is the abstract reality that connects all of that. My leap of faith is that things do make sense and that through love and peace we can accomplish the greatest deeds. I think science will lead us to healthier lives and capabilities of more efficient use of our resources. My faith can not be proven but many trends can be observed. It is these trends that will show us the path. When you see a negative trend look deeper and you will see that the whole picture was not noticed.
